Woodall Yard

There is no Woodall yard in Lynchburg.  Kinney yard is the N&W (NS) yard off of Woodall road. Montview is the Southern (NS) yard in Lynchburg and Sandy Hook is the CSX (C&O) yard in Lynchburg. Chad JordanSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I think that is the depot that opened replacing the older station down in the river bottoms near Island Yard, etc. As I recall, the changeover occurred sometime in 1966.Just a thought.Feel free to send me back into the penalty box if I am off-base here or better yet, out with the turnip master himself up in Penna.Bob Cohen
