Roanoke Rail Cam down

I don't know who owns and operates the camera. It had some unique features that made it especially helpful and fun to use. It would stream video rather than individual images. It provided video for 12 hours into the past which allowed you see a sequence of events rather than one current image of the present. I didn't appreciate it as I should until it stopped working.

I want to encourage the owner to bring it back on line and offer support.

Interesting that it’s still down. Was it operated by Norfolk Southern? Did they pull the plug on it as they leave town?

The live stream video camera facing west overlooking the Norfolk Southern Randolph Street interlocking in Roanoke is no longer working. Does anyone know who operates the camera? I'd like to contact them to try to help.
