Truss Bridges on the N&W

I for one think the truss bridges crossing the James River and C&O at
Natural Bridge Station are your ticket. The through truss across the C&O
is fairly short and the deck truss approaching from the south is really
nice. I saw several photos of the truss from the station side through the
years before I finally realized how short the through truss was.
Unfortunately, I don't know where I've seen the picture that revealed the
entire span. I suppose you might look at Google Earth to at least get a
view from above.

Other trusses that come to mind are the deck truss in Luray that Link
included in one of his pictures, the twin trusses on the Poky at the
Hatfield tunnels (?) maybe, the trusses west of Portsmouth as you enter the
Peavine to Cincinatti, the trusses at the entrance to Pigeon Creek branch
west of Williamson, and I believe there is (was) a truss behind the
Williamson roundhouse going across the river. The Ohio River trusses and
the Maybuery truss are beautiful but enormous.
