That’s actually Y-6a 2170; rhe 2176 was a Y-6b with a different feedwater heater.

I’m puzzled about the “99”.  The photo should only be identified as “Bristol”.  N&W milepost 99 was way east of Windale.  In fact, it was somewhere about Petersburg.  Bristol was actually about MP 408.

Ed, 

  I have opened up the shadows and think this wonderful shot is of 2176 but my curiosity as to why the location is referred to as "99" remains.  MP 99 is back up east of Wyndale so that seems to be ruled out.
  I also attach a shot of another 23G going east that shows the former roundhouse at far right.
