John -  Mine has roman numerals.  I have had  the Seth Thomas #2 for about 40 years and it is supposed to be from the N&W.

Anybody happen to know if Roman numerals or Arabic numerals (i.e. 1,2,3, etc.) were more common on the faces of N&W No.2s?  Seen plenty of both.

N&W use mainly Seth Thomas no 2 with some and very few no1s none where ever marked

With the recent conversation about time I got to thinking - did the N&W have a standard clock model? My father has a beautiful marked PRR Seth Thomas #2 but I've never seen anything marked for the N&W.
