Crewe stand in

[NW Mailing List]

The car appears to be a N&W PM Coach. A picture is attached below. It is
numbered 1723.

I have records 1723 was rebuilt in 1963 to 60 seats and renumbered 1004
and. furthermore it was donated to the Tidewater NRHS sometime later in the
60's. So I am not sure this is the actaul 1723

I visited the museum several years ago when I took this and a few other
shots. I don't recall seeing any placard or sign identifying this car.

Maybe someone else has the "let's fill in the blanks" info.
