Hi Glenn:

Likely the largest player of traffic was Semet-Solvay Coke plant and the
associated traffic that was generated by that facility. I believe it closed
in the 1980's. That alone would require several turns. I do know the DT&I
pulled a few cars out of that facility daily for movement to Jackson.

The yard at Ironton was pretty impressive with heavy rail and multiple
tracks. Indeed, the primary interchange with the DT&I did occur at Glen
Jean, but I believe the DT&I did drop some cars to the N&W, especially from
industries on the south end of the DT&I Ironton Branch.

Hope this helps, I am at work and will research more when I get home this
evening.
