Abram,
The Jan. - Mar. 2018 issue of /The Arrow/ has an article on Villamont,
VA, which reveals that N&W second vice president, N. D. Maher on May 2,
1912, replied to L. E. Johnson, president, N&W, "I have arranged to
change the name of Ironville station to Villamont, to take effect as
soon as everyone is notified." This article also includes the account of
the tower fire as printed in the Evening News (Roanoke) for June 1, 1907.
