Arrow damage

Jeff,
I get what I consider two valuable magazines mailed without any type of envelopes. The COHS mag is mailed like The Arrow without any tape or stickers. Most of the time it arrives undamaged. My TCA magazine is mailed with one sticker on the right side and 99% of the time the front and rear covers are torn to pieces. In my experience the safest method is to mail in a large paper envelope. If slow delivery and damaged issues become a problem I would consider paying higher membership dues to keep a $12.00 +/_ Arrow from being distroyed and mail it in a first class envelope. I would like to know how much extra work and cost that would be. I would not expect Ken Miller to do that extra work. Maybe model & book companies could pay for added cost of the envelopes and first class mailing by advertising on the mailing envelope???
Regards,
Norris

Subject: Arrow damage

Was wondering since the plastic cover has been replaced, what about those peal and stick circles they put on flyers to help secure the pages while in transit?
