photo location

[NW Mailing List]

My recollection is that the photo is of the retarder tower located north of the Bluefield East Yard office.  The operator located in the tower controlled the speed of cars being weighed at Bluefield.  I have a photo or two made from Princeton Avenue that gives an overall view of that area.
