611 towed from Norfolk story of 1982 I think

As I recall, the "J" was towed in reverse but under steam at 25 mph but
even in 1982 it did not have to go all the way to Roanoke in reverse. It
was turned on a wye track either around Petersburg or at Lynchburg/Kinney
where for sure it could have been turned safely.

I don't remember all the details but it was one of those as my memory says,
36.5 years after the fact.
