First run of "J" 600
Does any one have information on the first run of engine 600. It was pulling the Cavalier. Pictures, magazine articles anything would be of help. Thank you.

The structure at the far left of the attached photo taken at Mohegan, WV,
appears to be a water tank mounted close to ground level with some
octagonal structure inserted between the top of the tank and the tank
roof. Anyone have any knowledge/speculation about the purpose/construction
of this interesting building?

The picture was taken at Caples, not Mohegan. From other pictures it appears to be a water tank associated with the coal company rather than the railroad.
