Rock colors

David The rock around the area is a mixture of limestone with traces of iron and manganese. For formations that are visible i would suggest that you start with a base on your formations of a blueish/ black.  Don't forget to splash with rust spots to show the iron.

What color do the modelers use to replicate rock formations along the N & W?  Especially near Rural Retreat.  Any color photos would be appreciated.
