Boyce Railway Depot Foundation

Good morning, all:

The Virginia State Corporation Commission has issued a charter for the
Boyce Railway Depot Foundation.  This non-stock corporation is being
established for the long-term preservation of the 1913 former Norfolk &
Western station building along the Hagerstown District in Clarke County,
Virginia.   After the Internal Revenue Service establishes an Employer
Identification Number for tax reporting, there will be an opportunity for
people sharing a vision for the depot to become "Friends" with nominal
annual membership dues.  Later on comes the application for 501(c)(3)
status.  This foundation is similar to the Lee Hall Station Foundation for
the C&O depot at Lee Hall, Virginia.

If someone is interested in serving as secretary, or treasurer, or both,
please contact me off-list.  The foundation will be entirely separate from
the Railway Mail Service Library.  Meanwhile, have a Super Sunday
--whether pigskin-oriented or otherwise.
