Where Was Engineering Station 0 + 00 for the Radford Division ?

My question is:  Where was "0.00," the beginning point for the system of measurement used for the Radford Division ?

According to what the Engineering Department taught, distance is
measured from the EAST face of the station (passenger station ?
freight station ?).  If you are referring to the column in timetables
"Distance from Roanoke",  Radford Division Time Table #18
eff. 04/30/1922, calculates the distance from Roanoke to Salem as 5.1 miles.
When Time Table #10 was issued (04/29/1956) the distance  shown
is  6.79 miles.                               Harry Bundy
