Ed,
     To be honest, Jeff Sanders or Abe would be the yardmen to ask for 
the correct answer. I will guess that true to the name they worked all 
over the yard doing whatever job the yardmaster needed doing. I would 
hear them out there from time to time, but, I can't say that they were 
ever in the same place.
