Rebuilt heavyweight coaches RF&P number series in the low 500's. Nearly
identical coaches were built by AC&F in 1919 and Bethlehem Shipbuilding
Corporation in 1923. These coaches had single window arrangement and were
air conditioned and somewhat modernized in 1941. The RF&P passenger service
book (TLC 2000) has photos of these cars, but is sketchy on details and
history. Official Register of Passenger Train Equipment gives their outside
length as 70+ feet.
