"Tuscan" - A Question for the Archivists

A question for those who have the leisure of poking around in the N&W's drawings at the Archives... 

Is there any evidence in the drawings indicating when the N&W first associated the descriptive word "Tuscan" with the red color applied to its passenger equipment?
