Based on the sun angle on the GOB South building (just see a little sun on
those east facing window sills) it's 1:20 in the afternoon.

Could this be a local? #4 usually had an RPO and he'd be running late. Does
seem like a lot of NW equip for #46. I don't have access to a 1954 timetable
at the moment.

Hello,
I was searching railpictures.net and found this one photo of Class J 605
arriving in Roanoke from the west and in the caption it said it was leading
"The Tennessean". The first seven visible cars in the picture are all N&W
cars, 5 of which are head end cars. This leads me to believe it is the
"Pocahontas". Can I get some clarification on this please?
Very Respectfully,
Joseph Congemi
