All traffic will be routed over the NS Guyandotte River Branch to the Pokey main at Wharncliffe. That means nearly 50 miles of the old VGN mainline will fall silent. Whether this is temporary or permanent, I do not know. Time will tell but it doesn't sound good given the current climate of the coal industry. Again, just passing along what I'm being told.
