Class J Shoppings After Jan 1956

Thank you for the replies.

Would it be conceivable that 611 was not the best J in shape in 1959?

I am traveling currently, so I cannot reference any books, but what level
of class repairs would 611 have had after her wreck?

A number of folks seem to think 611 was in the best shape at the end of
steam on N&W. I tend to think that she was just another J working until the
end of steam and that others possibly could have been in just as good or
better shape.
