Too bad they don’t restore and fire up the 1401, the  Ps-4 in the Smithsonian.  That should be, and is  green.

Walter - 

I agree with you up to a point, but I remember that it was painted green with the full agreement of Southern’s top management in order to do its excursion best.  So I decided I could live with it; I even decided I could live with the 2-8-0 722 being painted green for the same reasons, and it had even fewer reasons to be green than the 4501.
