Locomotive names

I e-mailed VMT today (among many other, I'm sure) and quoted sources for the term Work Horse in both the N&W Magazine and Bud Jeffries' books.  Bev Fitzpatrick acknowledged these references and stated that Bud Jeffries had earlier let him know that Work Horse is the term to use, not War Horse.

       There are many that would appreciate that you not use the name "Warhorse" when referring to N&W locomotive #2156! "Workhorse" maybe, or as the men that ran and built them, they were just known as "Twenty One Hundreds" (pronounced Hunerts to be more precise).
