VGN Shockley Branch

Per VGN RWY Condensed Profile Track Charts revised to 12-1-1925.

Originated at Glen White Jct. with a complete wye. Total length approx. 3.25
miles. Downgrade at 0.86% for approx. 1/3 mile to cross Millers Camp Branch
and went under the C&O Piney Crk. Br. with a connecting track in the SE
corner of the crossing. From Millers Camp Branch the line went up at approx.
4.0% grade for 2/3 mile, then 2.3% for 2/3 mile,  then a more moderate grade
of approx. 1.0% to the end. One siding shown around MP 2.3 on west side (I
assume for tipple?). Would be interesting to know if the branch was extended
further after 1925.

I found out this past Sunday that there was a Shockley Branch of the VGN.? I
would model it if I could be sure I wouldn't be considered an egomaniac or
that I wouldn't BE an egomaniac.? I haven't been a big fan of people naming
stuff after themselves on their layouts.? Exceptions might have to be made
for such an opportunity.

Likely I will order the documents.? It appears to have been abandoned in
1948.? Is there anything anyone can tell me otherwise?
