Shenandoah Division question

My dad (who was born between Dooms and Crimora) tells me that there was a small station at Dooms, that was done away with at the end of steam. There is a building next to the tracks at Dooms Crossing Rd., but I don't know what this might be, as I expect the station my dad referred to had been demolished.

Was looking thru an old timetable which lists a place called "Dooms",
located about 3,8 miles north of Waynesboro. Was there ever a known station
there or even a block station? What (if anything), is known about the
locale?
