Traffic bound for Cincinnati is either routed further west (Bristol I think) and then north on the ex-Southern or routed north from Portsmouth to Columbus and then west to Cincinnati. The tracks from Kenova to Portsmouth and on to Columbus is very busy.
Normal traffic is unit coal, unit double stacks, unit grain, unit autoracks, unit ethanol, piggy-back and a couple of general freights. There is one double stack the will almost always have 10-15 autoracks on it.
