The HU and HUa's, a 70 ton quad hopper as never done as a plastic or resin kit (Westerfield WAS gonna do one…) The HU class was rebuilt into 3 bay hoppers.
The HP's were one of the earliest bulk hoppers at 55 tons. Westerfield DID make its of that hopper.

I am trying to build a period correct section of the Norfolk and Western. What type coal hoppers did they have in the 1920's, 30's and 40's. What size? How many? It looks from pictures that they were 3 hoppers in the 1940's. Thank you.
