For anyone who cogitates about such worthless old matters... 

1. When was the first automatic block system installed on the Punkin' Vine? Years ago, I heard 1926-1927 mentioned as the time period. Anyone have information? 

2. Did the initial installation of automatic block signaling on "the Punk" use the AC track circuits with which the N&W was so much in love during time time period? 

3. Where was the first use of Absolute Permissive Block signaling on the N&W? (A possible clue: APB was invented in 1910.)
