Steam era coal routing

For the person who asked about this subject earlier, according to the book "The Norfolk & Western Railway: Williamson Terminal- 1953" by Vern French, westbound coal (to Portsmouth, Ohio, etc.)was marked with a green tag and eastbound coal (to Bluefield, etc.)was marked with a white tag.
