Chantilly Train show this coming weekend - August 24-25, 2013

Just a little reminder that the Dulles Expo Center's Chantilly train show
will be held a week from now, August 24-25, 2013. Come one, come all to the
big show out there, the only one in the region. They used to have it also
in January however ..... not anymore.

There should be the usual goodies available; models available in all
scales; parts too, loads of books, magazines and various railroad paper
from who knows what eras for the collecting fraternity. You never really
know from show to show all that's going to show up as well.

Lots of videos are also usually available in a variety of formats, both VHS
as well as digital.


There are also a number of modular club layouts present as well, usually in
a number of the most popular scales, too.

Finally, several railroad historical societies usually make their presence
noted, the C&O, N&W and RF&P groups come quickly to mind but there may be
others as well.

The hours are 10-4 both Saturday & Sunday, so come out and enjoy the
entertainment and our collecting fraternity.
