Were any of the SDP45's returned to the N&W still  in EL paint from Conrail 
or were they all in Conrail  schemes?
 
 
Two units were returned to the N&W in EL paint with CR  road numbers. they 
were R# 6668 (3636) and R# 6679 (3648). These two operated in  coal drag 
service Williamson, WV. to Norfolk, VA. up to 8-85 and 7-84. All  others in CR 
paint also ran in N&W service. They were not allowed to be lead  units due 
to controls.
