Dr. Nicholas Muff did a complete set of drawings of the Green Cove depot in the May 2005 issue of Mainline Modeler magazine. He also included many photos, both interior and exterior. This was the basis for the King Mill kit in HO.

You may also want to look at Trains, July 1957, O. Winston Link did an article titled "Mixed Train" all about the Abingdon branch. This is the article that got me started modeling the Abingdon branch and the M class in particular.

Finally, The May 1975 RMC has an article by Tony Koester and Jim Boyd about their 1974 visit to the branch before it shut down. There are more references to be found. You just need to do more research.
