Scanning

Does this mean that anyone who is keeping an eye on one or more railroad  
video cams can monitor two-way radio chatter (e.g., between crew  
members/dispatcher) even if the observer is located in another  part of the country, 
where they have always been able to see the  action in silence?

Just  discovered that a free app for iPad called Police Scanner can be 
configured to  pick up NS messages with better reception than my hand held 
scanner. It can be  set to a specific location; I.e. Washington County and 
Bristol. And on the  iPad it will run in the background while doing other searches 
or email  activities at the same time.
