Some information re N&W's Potts Valley Branch can be found in RAILS
REMEMBERED, Vol. 3, pp. 568-571, including a map showing four of the largest
trestles on the line.

The line was served by daily except Sunday 3rd Class mixed trains Nos. 103
and 104, which operated out of Ripplemead, where a 60-foot turntable was
located. Radford Division ETT No. 28, effective Nov. 20, 1927, lists a
speed limit of 20 MPH on the branch, except 10 MPH for Class W engines
(apparently standard power on the line) over Bridges 2404, 2408, 2412 and
2414, which are NOT the ones shown on the map on p. 571.
