Heritage Unit Photos

Did I correctly read an e-mail that said the photo of the blue unit had been "lightened" to better show the trucks? 
If that's the case, would this also affect the "blue" we see in the photo? 

If that's all true, it would be nice to see a photo of the unit that was not "doctored".
