Dave, I think you're talking about the railroad that served the Norfolk
area, known for some very small 2-8-4's, subject of a Prince(?)book. I'm
reasonably certain that this was also Norfolk Southern. I believe that
this has and will continue to cause confusion. More than once I've seen
current media refer to the current road as Norfolk and Southern.
I believe, also, that there is a historical society for the prior NS, and
there isn't one yet for the current NS. Correction is, as always, welcome.
