Location??

The picture is in Giles County, VA  between Narrows and Pearisburg.  The shot is looking down from Va Rt-100 at a bend in  New River, the US-460 bridge is crossing the river, the Celanese Fibers plant is to the left across the river, the Leas and McVitty Tannery (could create some great smells from time to time) is just on the other side of the 460 bridge in the center of the picture, the Virginian Ry is following the river on the other side, and N&W's Bluff City Station as we always called it (formally the Pearisburg station) is under the 460 bridge to the right. Narrows is to the left and Pearisburg is to the right.

I have just obtained the attached postcard and am wondering if anyone on the list might know where this photo was made.  The postcard says "A modern passenger train threads its course along one of the rivers flowing through an industrial and agricultural valley of Virginia."  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
