IN CITY AND COALFIELD
------
Cassell and Elliott Case
Summonses are being issued for the April term of federal court at Huntington at which time it is expected that the case of the United States against the Norfolk and Western and Cassell & Elliott will be called.. The summonses order the witnesses to be present at Huntington on April 2. The case is one of considerable local interest as it is charged that freight has been shipped to this city free of charge, said freight being consigned to Cassell & Elliott, a local firm, and it is further charged that the concern accepted such consignments. The indictments were returned by the federal grand jury at Charleston on information secured from a railroad official.
