Coal West-Passengers East Photo.

I don't know about online, it was termed, “Passengers East, Coal West”
is how N&W termed this classic publicity shot made in Williamson at
approximately 1:15 p.m. on the afternoon of August 11, 1953.
Eastbound Train No. 26, The Powhatan Arrow, pauses at the station for
five minutes, while Class A 2-6-6-4 1213 heads out on the yard lead
with an extra west of Lake-bound coal.

It was shot in both black and white and color, and used, in color on
the N&W Magazine cover September 1953.

That price is outlandish for the set of photos, they were a company
give away, poorly printed in the late 1970s.

I wouldn't recommend spending anything over $10 for the works, you'd
probably be disappointed.
