FIREMAN HUNT CRUSHED TO DEATH
------
Engineer Kefler [sic., Keffler?] Has Leg Broken in Wreck on Narrow Gauge Road of Lumber Company
Thomas Hunt, fireman on the narrow gauge railroad which is operated by the Honaker Lumber Company, to carry logs from the woods to the mills of the company at Honaker, was killed and Engineer Kefler had a leg broken Tuesday night, when a Climax engine jumped from the track back from Honaker after plunging madly down the mountain side for over a mile, only to leap down the hillside, crushing the fireman to death. Engineer Keffler's escape from death was most miraculous. The accident occurred in Buchanan county.
