Other Roads Compelled to Sell Right of Way Into Norton

    Without leaving their seats the member of the Virginia state corporation commission, sitting Wednesday at Richmond, decided the case of the Interstate Railway Co. against the Norfolk and Western and Louisville and Nashville railways, the effect of the decision being to give the Interstate Railway the right to acquire by condemnation proceedings certain land of the defendant companies in the town of Norton, Wise county, sufficient to enable the Interstate company to get through the town.
    The defendant companies had the Interstate company blocked out of Norton, but the action of the commission will compel them to sell a right of way to the Interstate.
