Here is a 91 second video of electric traction in 1928, and I am wondering if several of the scenes might picture N&W or VGN electrics.

The first scene was filmed at the west portal of the North Bergen Tunnel, showing an eastbound train from Manhattan Transfer entering the tunnel under the Hudson River, bound for Penn Station, Manhattan. The last scene was filmed at Bryn Mawr, ten miles west of Philadelphia on the Main Line. The scenes of the unidentified freight electrics occur in the middle.
