Brakeman Falls From Car
Luther Turner, a Norfolk and Western brakeman, fell from the top of a box car here yesterday afternoon while his crew was engaged in shifting on the Carr-Hunter Lumber Co. siding, and received an ugly wound on the back of his head. He was thought to have been badly injured at first, but Dr. Frazier was called to see him and stated that he did not believe his wounds to be dangerous. He was taken to the hospital at Bluefield for surgical attention. The young man is a son of Mrs. Turner, of Bluefield.
