NEGRO HOBO KILLEN IN GLEN LYN WRECK
------
Watchman Guarding Liquor in Wrecked Car Knocked in Head--Traffic Delayed Many Hours
One negro hobo was killed and two others injured last night at Glen Lyn about six-thirty when ten cars of train No. 86 were wrecked. One of the cars which was wrecked was loaded with whiskey and a crowd which gathered watched the contests rather closely. A watchmen was placed to guard the red liquor but shortly after he went on duty he was knocked in the head and while he was not badly injured he was unable to do duty and a good deal of the liquor was carried off. Officers were sent to Glen Lyn in replace him.
Train No. 16 did not leave this city until after 3 o'clock this morning while train No. 3 had not arrived at 4:30. Both passenger trains were held back by the wreck. Details of the wreck could not be secured here this morning.
