Installing New Boilers
    The Norfolk and Western is installing two new boilers in the addition to the boiler house recently completed.  The boilers are of a larger capacity than those in use at present.

[Presumably these boilers were installed in the then recently enlarged roundhouse.]

Change in Schedule
    Cab track talk says that the Norfolk and Western and the Pullman Company officials at Philadelphia are considering a change in the schedule of train No. 2 which will permit of that train leaving Gary at 11 o'clock in the morning, cutting out the long wait at Bluefield and perhaps Roanoke, and allowing the Pullman car which now runs to Philadelphia to go to New York City through the Pennsylvania tubes.
