New Mail and Express Cars
    Six of the new steel-frame express and mail cars ordered some time ago have been received by the Norfolk and Western.  They were built in Chicago.

Conductor Severely Injured
    Conductor Will Cooper, who lives on Rogers street, was severely injured about the hip yesterday at Huger when the emergency brakes were thrown on suddenly throwing him to the floor of the cab.  He was brought to Vivian where he was attended by a doctor and was later brought to this city on train No. 16.
