Does the Virginian want to come to Bluefield? Some of the people in this city believe so, while others take just the opposite view. During the past few days there has been a crystallization of sentiment among a few of those who want it to come here and as a result they have reached the point that they believe that if a bonus should be offered to the railroad to come to this city there would be no trouble in getting an extension of the line here from either Matoaka or Princeton. Some even believe that the road might be induced to enter this city from the east and pass on through to the coalfield, where it could eventually get considerable tonnage of coal as well as the freight which would come to this city and would be carried from here.
