"How would you tell the system was fully charged in a made-up train "

The air brake law says that the rear car has to be charged to within 15lbs. psi of the feed valve setting on the locomotive to make a proper brake test. This applies to any train.


>From what I have been told, most coal trains are now draped over the crest of the grade in Bluefield. This basically eliminates the problems that created long delays to trains in the past.
