Spark track refers to the engine terminal track(s) where road crews might
pick up or drop their engines and might include facilities for ashes, coal,
water, or sand.

In general (including a _turning_ wye), tail or tail track refers to a stub
end track extending a limited distance beyond the switch end of a turnout.
This would apply to switchbacks, few yard leads or industrial spurs, and
tipples, typically at end of spur, where the engine can pull or shove past
and drop empties into delivery tracks.
