Gordon,

The Railway Age item may be referring to the West Fork branch that would
have come off the Old Line on Mill Creek, just west of Guard Rail Curve,
between Cooper and Ruth.  The distance would be about right if you
disregard the Krag reference.

1936 Railway Age notes N&W's application to abandon 0.65 miles of line from
Coopers to "Krag".  Anybody know where Krag is/was and where this line tied
into the main?
